Brothers Adam and Royce Sullivan identified this problem on their own family camping trips and decided to put their heads together on how to make a camp grill that was more efficient. They quickly realized there were no flat pack camp grills on the market that offered an adjustable grill height over the fire, so they came up with their own design. And the Otzi Adventure Gear brand was born from there!
All Otzi Gear grills have a back plate with slots for the grill plate to be adjusted to four different levels. This allows you to cook your meal as soon as you get the fire started, no matter the size or heat of the fire. Simply raise or lower the grill plate as needed to achieve the perfect temperature!
As well as being adjustable, Otzi grills disassemble into completely flat pieces that can be stored in the durable ballistic nylon carry case that is included with each grill purchase. This allows for easy transportation and storage in a vehicle or backpack.
Additionally the front, back, and side plates fit together to form a fully contained grill frame that can be fueled with either charcoal or wood, and can double as a fire pit. And depending on the size of the grill, each comes equipped with 1-4 steel skewers that sit inside the built-in skewer notches on the side plates. The notches allow for the skewers to be rotated to 6 different positions, so you can cook your kebabs evenly every time! The skewers can also be used as marshmallow roasting sticks or a prod to tend your fire.
